For LB and glynnis, Boosh icons from Ep 1, Eels.

Plus check out this amazing photo album of good quality screencaps by Caz from Episode 2: Journey to the Centre of the Punk

For glynnis, by request:

Don't know if you get the reference in the last one. It comes from a quote from this interview:

"Noel Fielding, wearing a new silver jump-suit that makes his considerable genitals look like a massive draught excluder in the shape of a snake"

For LB, by request:

I'll probably make a few more of this subject. I've got good pics. I want to learn to animate it too. That would be cool.

Here's a really good one of the cockney urine moment by efstan rainfall on the forum, but it might be too big for LJ.

(Indulge your wild theories here)

Thank you so much! Poor scared Howard! Thanks for linking to the photo album too. One of the pictures (punk109, I think?) literally made my jaw drop.

I know! The one where he's looking into the camera as the 'Hancock's Half Hour'esque trombone solo plays (I don't know if you got that reference, it was a big 50s sitcom here staring Tony Hancock that they're said to be incredibly fond of).

Actually, I was watching the Scott Walker documentary, and was stunned to find out that the composer of that Hancock theme (which is an amazing bit of work, I've always loved it) was also Walker's producer. Big coincidence.

She's called Wally Stott, and it kind of confused the hell out of me to finally see her in the documentary, since I thought she was a woman, and had always been, since she was a composer for the BBC in the 50s, because she's always called 'she'. But it turns out she was a man then. I thought that was astoundingly forward thinking of the BBC to employ a woman composer/conductor for their orchestra in the 50s. Aha! More fool me.

Anyway, I think that screencap needs to be iconised too. Yum.
